XML Courseware Updated to Visual Studio 2017
July 5, 2018.
Object Innovations today released updated courseware on XML programming using .NET:
XML is an important technology in the modern software scene where interoperability
across diverse environments is important. The .NET Framework provides extensive support
for XML processing. This comprehensive course covers parsing using XmlReader and the
Document Object Model (DOM), writing XML streams using XmlWriter, transformations using
XPath and XSLT, and LINQ to XML. It includes a progressively developed case study
illustrating the use of XML in a practical business scenario.
The course runs on Visual Studio 2017, including the free Community edition. Database
examples use the LocalDB database engine of SQL Server 2016, which is integrated
into Visual Studio 2017.
Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
