.NET Framework Courseware Updated to Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0

January 28, 2010. Object Innovations has updated its courseware on the .NET Framework to work with .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010. The chapter on .NET Security was simplified due to removal of machine-wide code access security policy in .NET 4.0. Several old example programs were deleted, and a new example was provided illustrating the simple sandboxing API.

The updated course is:

The release of this course, which run on Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2, continues a comprehensive update of the Object Innovations .NET curriculum to .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010. The new platform is scheduled for release by Microsoft on March 22, 2010. In the meantime, Microsoft offers a "go live" license to deploy applications created with the Beta 2 software, which is quite stable.

Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
