New Course in Unit Testing with Visual Studio Team System
July 23, 2008.
Object Innovations today released a new course for C# developers on unit testing using Visual
Studio 2008 Team System:
An emerging software engineering paradigm is test-driven development, where tests
are written early and testing is performed continuously during the development process.
Problems are discovered early and corrected when they are found.
The new course explains the methodology of test-driven development and the use of the Unit Testing
Framework of Visual Studio in supporting
test-driven development on Microsoft .NET.
There is enough material, including five labs, to run the course over a somewhat
longer duration if desired. The instructor guide contains suggestions for pacing.
The course is fully current to .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008. The course was developed using
Visual Studio 2008 Team System and can also be run using Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition
Also available from Object Innovations is a course on unit testing with the open source
framework NUnit.
Shipment of the new courseware begins immediately.
