Updated Oracle and ADO.NET courses from Object Innovations
November 27, 2006.
Object Innovations today released updated versions of three courses in Oracle and ADO.NET.
These courses are part of Object Innovations’ comprehensive
curriculum in Microsoft .NET.
Oracle is a leading database for enterprise application development, and ADO.NET
is an important data access technology, part of Microsoft’s .NET Framework. The
courses are updated to use .NET 2.0 and Oracle 10g. They
provide in-depth training on the practical use of these
technologies together.
The 5 day course,
443, Oracle Applications Using ADO.NET and C#,
provides a detailed introduction to the Oracle database, followed by coverage of
ADO.NET. A case study is used throughout the course, with the database developed in
the first module and a programming application progressively built in the second module.
The course includes detailed coverage of both Windows and Web front-ends to Oracle databases.
The second module is available as a separate, three-day course,
413C2, ADO.NET Using Oracle and C#.
The first module is also available separately:
173, Oracle Fundamentals.
It is designed to provide experienced programmers and database administrators an introduction
to database programming, focusing on database design working with Oracle 9i or 10g as your primary
data store. You will be exposed to database layout and design, actual database programming
with the PL/SQL language to create database objects, and exposure to various database objects
such as SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and much more.
This updated course is part of Object Innovations’ extensive
database curriculum, that also includes courses
in SQL, ADO.NET, JDBC, Java Hibernate, as well as a number of other Oracle courses.
Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
