Updated .NET Frameworks Courses from Object Innovations

Completing the first round of a comprehensive update of its .NET core curriculum to .NET 2.0,
Object Innovations today released
revised three-day courses in the .NET Framework. The courses
are now current to .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005.
The updated three-day courses are:
These course are designed to provide a sound introduction to the .NET Framework for programmers
who already know the C# or Visual Basic .NET language and the fundamentals of Windows Forms.
They focus on core portions of the .NET Framework that are common across many application areas.
Separate courses are available in specific areas, such as ADO.NET, XML Programming, Windows Forms,
ASP.NET and Web services.
Besides updating the courses throughout to use .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005, the new versions
feature improved presentation of class library and assembly examples, a discussion of new application
settings features in .NET 2.0, new security examples, and more.
The chapter on ADO.NET now uses SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, which is a free download available
from Microsoft. There are new labs provided with this chapter.
The previous courses on the .NET Framework in .NET 1.1 remain available.
The .NET Framework courses are part of Object Innovations’
comprehensive .NET curriculum.
Parallel tracks are offered in C# and Visual Basic. The diagram shows the core courses in
.NET programming using C#.
