Object Innovations releases revised and expanded courses covering ASP.NET 2.0
August 30, 2005.
Continuing the update of its .NET curriculum to .NET 2.0, Object Innovations today released
revised five-day courses in ASP.NET, expanding the courses from four days in length to five days.
The two additional courses that have been updated to .NET 2.0 are:
Each course adds three chapters covering the new features introduced in ASP.NET 2.0,
including many new features like personalization, web parts, master pages, themes and skins,
and new data binding.
The previous four-day courses covering only ASP.NET 1.1 remain available.
A noteworthy feature of .NET 2.0 is the introduction of low-cost versions of Visual Studio,
including Visual Web Developer Express Edition, which are ideal for instructional purposes.
All the ASP.NET 2.0 programming examples in both courses have been tested in the new development
environment. The new database examples use SQL Server 2005 and have been tested on the
free version, SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.
Object Innovations is revising its entire .NET curriculum to .NET 2.0 and expects
its courses to be updated to .NET 2.0 by the time Microsoft officially releases
Visual Studio 2005 in November.
Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
