Five-Day Courses in C# and VB.NET Updated to .NET 2.0

Continuing the update of its .NET curriculum to .NET 2.0, Object Innovations today released
revised 5-day courses in C# and VB.NET programming using Visual Studio 2005,
previously code-named Whidbey.
The two additional courses that have been updated to .NET 2.0 are:
Each course adds a chapter covering the new features introduced to the language in .NET 2.0.
The courses are designed so that they can be run using either Visual Studio .NET 2003 (.NET 1.1)
or Visual Studio 2005.
A noteworthy feature of .NET 2.0 is the introduction of low-cost versions of Visual Studio,
Visual C# 2005 Express Edition and Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition, which are ideal
for instructional purposes. All the programming examples in both courses have been tested
in the new development environment.
Object Innovations is revising its entire .NET curriculum to .NET 2.0 and expects
its courses to be updated to .NET 2.0 by the time Microsoft officially releases
Visual Studio 2005 in November.
Next up for update to .NET 2.0 are the courses in ASP.NET, expanding the courses to 5 days
in length. ASP.NET 2.0 includes many new features like personalization, web parts, master pages,
themes and skins, and new data binding. The upcoming course updates are:
