Michael Saltzman
|
Michael Saltzman is founder and Vice President
of /training/etc
(www.trainingetc.com).
He received his BS in Mathematics at
the University of Rhode Island and
Masters degrees from the
American University and from
the Johns Hopkins University.
From 1967-1990, he worked for
the National Security Agency (NSA) of the
Department of Defense (DOD).
After leading large groups of
programmers in the design and
development of large software systems,
Mr. Saltzman transferred to
the National Cryptologic School (NCS)
of the NSA where he designed,
developed and led many courses in
mathematics and computer science.
Since 1990 he has pursued a career
as instructor and author of
industrial training courses in
major programming languages and
technologies, including
C, C++, Java, Perl and UNIX.

As Vice President and Director of
Technical Services of /training/etc,
which specializes in the delivery of
instructor-led technical hands-on seminars,
he has trained thousands of students
in various C, object-oriented programming and
UNIX-related courses.
He is an author of the
books Modern Perl Programming
and Programming Perl in the .NET Environment,
both published by Prentice Hall.
