Dhananjay Katre

Dhananjay Katre is a Senior Software Specialist working for Patni Computer Systems Limited, with wide gamut of experience in implementing complete SDLC. He is the lead author of the book Migrating to .NET: A Pragmatic Path to Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++ .NET and ASP .NET published by Prentice Hall (ISBN:0-13-1009621). He has written several articles in the field of voice technology and .NET platform. He is one of the active members of the Microsoft .NET Technology Group at Patni and is participating in formulating various migration methodologies, which deals with various aspects of the Microsoft .NET technology.

He is an active team member of .NET technology initiatives and also part of the Web-Services initiatives at Patni. He has also given many seminars on .NET technology within and outside Patni. He has core knowledge of E-Commerce concepts; Internet tools/languages like ASP, XML, Java Servlets, JSP etc. He has sound exposure in developing middleware technology and is considered an expert within Patni. He has extensive experience in implementing applications/solutions for various clients. He has received a Valuable Contribution Award and Spot Appreciation Award for his efforts. He has been involved in many overseas assignments especially with US clients. He is a manufacturing domain expert.
