Bio for Object Innovations author Yashavant Kanetkar

Yashavant Kanetkar's career in the software industry began with a degree in Mechanical Enginering. He is a founder director of a training company called KICIT, which develops courseware on object-oriented technologies such as C++, MFC, COM/DCOM/COM+, and .NET. The latest addition to this is the course "Writing Windows Device Drivers" that he wrote for Object Innovations. Besides writing courses, he has taught several thousand students now.

Yashavant is a prolific writer with more than a dozen titles on C++, VC++, .NET, DirectX, and UNIX to his credit. He is also a regular reviewer for many publishing houses, including Prentice Hall.

He runs www.funducode.com, which provides several online courses and lots of source code.

In addition to his current focus on IT training, Yashavant also leads a team that develops good pieces of software.
